Just wanted to introduce myself and say hi from sunny South Africa!
I've used Linux a couple times before, but I've decided to really get to know how this whole
Linux thing works, and when with Mint!! In the past I've used Mandriva 2009, Kubuntu, and Ultimate Edition, but
since I heard so many good things I decided to get Mint.
I can't say how I like it yet, because my first download didn't work properly, and I'm busy getting it again, but thanks
to South African ISP's shaping my internet so much, it'll take a while to download, but I'll have it up and running by tomorrow.
For now I'll be browsing the forums, and learning what I can, but I suggest you all brace yourself for a whole bunch of noobish questions
until I manage to find out how this lot actually works!
A big Howzit from South Africa!!
