Hello eveyone
Marximus here. new to Linux. I had been hearing about Linux but never really bothered, it was all mystery to me. Did not want any headaches. But I had a problem with my only PC which run Windows 7 and the search for a solution led me to Linux (Ubuntu). I began to notice how limiting/limited Windows was. Further reading led me to Linux Mint. I have been using Mint from my USB Key for a couple of weeks now and I like it although not perfect. I now want to dual boot Mint 12 KDE and Windows 7 - (need support, will post at relevant section). My heart now is with Linux and critical thing for me besides all else is the freedom that comes with Linux. I guess it is because I value freedom so much - I have low tolerance for restrictions but very law abiding though. Hope to make a healthy contribution to the Linux Mint Community.

Welcome marximus. I'm sure you will find the answers and help that you need in the forums. There are many friendly and knowledgeable Mint users willing to help you in solving any problems you may run into. I think you picked a great edition with Mint 12 KDE. It's my favorite Mint. Have fun with Linux and Mint.
