Hello one & all... & all in one.....
I donate my time and provide IT services to a local Salvation Army, Ultimately I want to convert all of the computers being use by clients (donated windows systems) to Linux but for now, will buy two refurb desktop systems to start things out. The main reason I wish to switch to Linux is due to the fact I spend way too much time cleaning them from malware, viruses etc... So with that being said, I want computers with Mint installed and no user access to cd-rom, access to usb ports but only to certain files like txt, doc pdf (is that possible under Linux?)
I played around with other distro's in the past but Mint has really impressed me.
