Mintupdate-Debian 1.0.2

Postby rdonnelly on Sat Aug 27, 2011 4:38 pm

I recently installed the LMDE re-spin on my laptop. I notice the update manger was different. It has helpful update pack info, that tells you what might hose your system. I did my latest update with this manager instead of the command line with no problems. I have been out of the loop for a while, and I am wondering what repos I should be using?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

hi,
it depends how stable you want your system to be http://blog.linuxmint.com/?p=1781

the 201108 respin comes pointing latest, the repo we assume is the more stable and tested, the call is yours if you decide to risk more.
