Right now, everything is ok and was the only way I could get kde-full on my LMDE install.....I kept getting dependancy issues when I went to go a different way. If in fact, I run into any difficulties or major regressions, I'll reinstall and go from there.... Curiosity got the best of me and the urge to be adventurous while I was waiting for an answer....sorry....cheers
