I cant login linux mint debian gnome.

Hi there,

Yesterday my laptop has power off. Now I can't login with gnome only can login with gnome classic. My linux write to me with gnome: something error happen, sorry, logout and try to login again...

Sorry about my poor english, I'm hungarian. Can enyone help me?

I understand that you can login your favourite desktop environment (I don't now if your talking about Cinnamon, MATE or Gnome Shell... all of them are GNOME). I take for granted that MDM (the login screen) is working properly and that your graphic card is also working fine. if I were in your position the first thing I would do is trying to reinstall your favourite desktop environment. OPen synaptic and reinstall the package.

I tried to reinstall Gnome, but not worked. Then: I deleted GNOME and installed again. Now: I can't see it on my login screen only I see the Gnome Classic.

I tried to run gnome at terminal it write to me: Segmentation fault...

My card is installed well...
