I am having issues installing Linux Mint Debian 64bit. I created a bootable USB drive using pendrivelinux
When I click on the Install Linux Mint icon, it warns that it did not use a password then dies.
I tried uninstalling the slideshow with apt-get but it needs the mint user password. I have used passwd to create a password for the mint user. Now sudo complaints that the mint user is not part of the suoders file. I can't use sudo for any command as the mint user is not part of the sudoers group.
Now what?

Re: Linux Mint Debian Installer
make the USB with http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/ and you'll be fine
Re: Linux Mint Debian Installer - SOLVED
Thanks Zero, that worked. It seems Pendrivelinux causes the issue.
