I have a problem trying to boot Linux Mint LMDE 32 bit , both Mate and Xfce. I am using a Liveusb created with dd command and i have the same problem if i write the iso to DVD. I have to note that the usb works ok on my desktop. The problem is with my 7 years old Acer Aspire 3023 wlmi laptop. This laptop a Broadcom Wifi , Ati x700 card and Amd Sempron 3000+ Processor. When i am trying to boot the usb and i am seeing the wall of text i get :
live-boot failed .....b43-phy0 ERROR: Firmware file ....... not found .......... hd died cleaning up.
Can anyone help? Maybe there is a boot parameter to disable the broadcom drivers?
