Feature Request: MDADM support and a CD boot menu

Postby jeraldjunkmail on Sat Feb 09, 2013 5:40 pm

Hi there, new to Mint and somewhat new to Linux (Debian). I was going to run LMDE on my home server, but found out that doing so with a softRAID setup would be painful. So, I said "MEH!" and just installed Debian testing and put MATE on there as my desktop. It works, but is not perfect. SO, I was wondering if this is a planned feature, or is in the works.

Also, how about a way to install LMDE from a boot menu, as opposed to a live-cd install? So far, these are the only things stopping me from installing LMDE on my PC.

Cheers, jeraldjunkmail!

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

No response. Hmmm... Guess that means "Not now/Not yet..."

Is this in the cards?
