During Installation of LMDE the installer asked me the location to install GRUB. I had created a /boot partition which is /dev/sda7. but this is not on the GRUB installation choice. It has /dev/sda
I want to dual boot LMDE with windows8.
I proceeded with /dev/sda option and made the installation successful. But next time I rebooted it goes directly to windows8...

Has your machine got an UEFI bios?
