Postby aneeszaki on Thu Aug 18, 2011 2:40 pm

I am trying to install KVM (Kernel based virtualization) .. and I followd a tutorial and while installing by apt-get I got the following error:

#sudo apt-get install kvm libvirt-bin virtinst
.....
Setting up libvirt-bin (0.9.3-4) ...
chown: cannot access `/var/lib/libvirt/qemu/': No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing libvirt-bin (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
configured to not write apport reports
Errors were encountered while processing:
libvirt-bin
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Any idea what is going on? ... Thans for your help.
