From a cold boot to the live dvd (201109 Xfce 64-bit), the Linux Mint Splash Screen opens with the message that that LM will start in x seconds. The splash screen resolves into a black screen with the message: Disk error 10, AX=4274, Drive EF. Boot failed press any key to retry. Retry yields the same results.

What is a Disk Error 10?
Where is AX=4274?
Does Linux have a Drive EF?

This is because the computer can not read the CD correctly. Suggestions:
1. At the count down screen during boot, press a key, and select to do the integrity check of the disc.
2. It if fails the integrity check, visually check the disc has no dirty points or scars on it, else try wiping it clean (very very very gently, with a clean, soft, and non-plushy, non-abrasive cloth).
3. If it still fails the integrity check, suggest you burn it again and:
a. Check the MD5 sum of the file you downloaded before your burn it
b. Visually check the blank disc has no dirty points or scars on it, before you burn the downloaded file
c. High speed burning can also cause problems. Please set the speed lowish when burning an ISO file.
