Installing LMDE with LVM encryption

I found some guides how to do this but they seem very outdated

I found one guide here http://www.linuxbsdos.com/2011/01/01/ho ... le-system/ but the packages are outdated and broken so it doesn't work. Another one on this forum viewtopic.php?f=141&t=71159 but that doesn't work for me either. I get I/O errors around the Volume Population then it get worse and worse.

Is there a way this can be done relatively easy at the moment? Are there any plans to include full disk encryption in the installation of LMDE?
