Hi
Using LMDE64 .
With Gnome 3 Cinamon session, LibreOffice 3.4.5 starts very slowly when I am not online. It needs about 45 sec to open a file. This slow opening happens not only once, but every time I open a new file, be it a very small one. It seems LibreOffice wants for some reason to check if I am online, and if I am not, then, it opens the file very reluctantly. Once online, it needs some seconds only.
With a Mate session, the start-up is much quicker. It does not make any difference if it is online or not.
LibreOffice slow start when not online is a Gnome 3 bug

Hello,
In your /etc/hosts file, could you check that you have "127.0.0.1 localhost" at the first line?
