201101 vs 201109

Is the 201109 iso still based on sqeeze? or did it switch to testing ?

201109 is based on Testing. The LMDE snapshot you want if you want to have an LMDE using Squeeze is 201101. Just edit the /etc/apt/sources.list file and change the instances of testing to squeeze. Then in terminal do:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

When it's finished you'll have an installation of LMDE based on Squeeze.
