i was used to byobu in ubuntu but ran into a problem in lmde that i couldn't resolve with man pages or search engines.
the problem is that even with no options marked to display, the whole bottom line of byobu is showing me the currently running command; nice feature but it takes all the space and there is no option to turn it off in the menu. when I marked the statutes that I want to show up, just half of them appear since most of the space is taken by the status of the running command at the moment.
