Replace Evolution Mail With ?

Postby BadFinger on Mon May 07, 2012 9:25 pm

Because of problems encountered with using Evolution Mail with the latest LMDE I am unable to resolve, with either upgrading or doing a fresh install of LMDE, (viewtopic.php?f=190&t=100920),
I am in need of a replacement email client that is capable of importing all my email folders from Evolution. I've been using Evolution what seems like forever, but it will not work fully with MATE. (My presumption).

I'll take some help, please.

Give Thunderbird or Icedove (Debian's rename of Thunderbird) a try.

Switching from Evolution to Thunderbird – importing the works - Netflow Developments : http://blog.netflowdevelopments.com/201 ... the-works/
Debian Sid KDE4.8.4 Kernel 3.4 Thinkpad R40 CPU Pentium M 1.3MHz RAM 2GB ATI Mobility 7500
Debian - "If you can't apt-get something, it isn't useful or doesn't exist"
Giant Debian sources.list | Debian upgrade script smxi | sysinfo script inxi

Neither of those two programs work with those instructions.
Does not work with Evolution 3.2.

Anyone else know of a way to migrate my Evolution mail to another email client, (not online)?
