Service Monitor

Postby Virucyde on Mon May 14, 2012 12:15 pm

I'm running the latest Debian release, and using the default GUI, which I believe is Cinnamon, while I love the speed increase, I can't quite get what I had when I was using Mint KDE before, mainly all I want is a replacement for this:
http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=125203

It was a nice desktop app to show the current status of specified services, and allowed you to create scripts for checking custom services, and for starting and stopping them when their bubbles were clicked. Is there any alternative to this that I can conveniently have run in the background for Debian with Cinnamon?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

I know it's only remotely what you search but this gives at least a quick overlook: services-admin
In MATE: mate-services-admin
My Linux history: Ubuntu 10.04 - 10.10 - LMDE 201109 - UP4 My sources.list/preferences

Computers is not science. And it's not magic - it's something in between.
