If you install KDE on LMDE, you are not able to totally Mintify the desktop.
You need to point to the Lisa repositories to do so as suggested in my tutorial (viewtopic.php?f=197&t=103839).
To make things easier I would like to see these packages in the LMDE repositories:
- mint-artwork-common
- mint-artwork-kde
- mint-artwork-kde-extra
- mint-configuration-kde
- kdm-theme-mint-kde
- ksplash-theme-mint-kde
- mint-md5sum-kde
- rootactions-servicemenu
Also mintwelcome needs some revising to work properly in KDE.
When clicked it disappears but keeps running so you have to kill the process by hand.
Moreover, ktorrent is missing from the LMDE repositories which is better suited for the KDE environment than transmission.
