a text search application

I am looking for a text search tool, for .doc and PDF format. I've been using Recoll until now, but it is not precise enough. Could you recommend me something else? Thank you.

Hi mali radnik, have you tried meta Tracker see http://projects.gnome.org/tracker/index.html. It's in the repository and integrates with Nautilus. Otherwise see - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_s ... ch_engines
