avant-window-navigator missing from the repository

Awn disappeared after the repos pointed to up5, nothing in synaptic, software center or apt, trying to install it from the community software page with apturl tells me ''Package 'avant-window-navigator' is virtual''.
I thought that maybe it's missing just in wheezy,so I tried to install it adding sid and squeeze repos to source.list but i couldn't find anything anyway (even if the package is there, according to the debian website).
Impossible for me to build it from tarball, too many dependencies.
Even tried adding ubuntu's ppa, broke my system and reinstall everything.
I know is no big deal and that there are many other docks, but now starts to be very annoying just that i can't get it done, and is driving me nuts.
i'm stuck. :|

running LMDE 201204 64bit pointing to testing.

thanx for any help

avant-window-navigator is no longer in Debian testing repository. It was removed in June this year, which was after UP4 was released (so it was still available in UP4) and after UP5 was released (so it is no longer available in UP5). You can find such information on the Debian PTS page for your package, where in the comments you see the removal: http://packages.qa.debian.org/a/avant-w ... gator.html

So, you'll have to indeed install it either from stable or from unstable. Did you do an apt-get update after editing your sources.list?
