Images not loading on Apache Server

I have an apache server up and running; when I go online, I am able to see all my php and index files. However, I am unable to load any type of images, and when I click on images I get this following error:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /v7/affiliatesbg.jpg on this server.
Apache/2.2.22 (Ubuntu) Server at www.animesecret.info Port 80

Have you looked at the permissions on that particular file? That might be the reason for the message. If it is not world readable, then you have a problem.

Well all image files do not load; however, all my shtml and html pages load completely fine. It's only pictures that do not load, and I do not understand why.
