Have recently had to burn a ISO to a USB.
Tried using Image writer from a fresh LMDE-Xfce 64bit install. (pretty sure worked before).
burn cant boot USB stick
Gparted says 'recursive FS on disk. Couldn't recover 'device partion table' using gparted on LMDE, could from other Distro! :?

Not the ISO image, I burned CD on LMDE fine.
Not the USB stick I burned using unetbootin on another computer (will not correct using Unetbootin on LMDE)
Computrer fine can use Unetbotin and (Ubuntu) 'startup disc creator' on this computer outside LMDE.

**Edit** forgot to say this is a LMDE-Xfce 64bit
Noticed on Grub screen now had option 'memory test + experimental multi-boot' :?:

Tried the fix effecting Mint14RC new ISO's

Unetbootin now working again. Image writer still gives corrupted USB!

Is image writer 32bit program or updated recently?

P.S. found out (googling ect) gparted will only fully recreate the 'device partion table' from a live CD (clonzilla, system rescue disk, parted magic ect)
