A friend showed me how an android app called Airplay where he can view a video file saved on his phone to be displayed on his macbook air that has XBMC installed. for it to work both macbook and android device should both be on the same wifi network. i tried it on my htc wildfire and it worked like a charm. My netbook dual boots Bodhi Linux and LMDE and both have XBMC installed. I was able to view my android phone's video file on Bodhi through Airplay and XBMC, but I was unable to stream the video when I'm booted in LMDE. Any suggestions would be greatly appreaciated.
