Hi everyone,
when using the man command, I cannot scroll down using the arrow keys, but using Enter works. Is there any way to change this? I've looked in the keybindings, and couldn't find anything relevant.
Edit: or better yet, is there a way to use the mouse scroll to navigate down the man page? It's possible to scroll up, but you can only scroll down as far as you've pressed Enter to.
Thank you.

Which desktop environment are you using? If MATE or Xfce, you may have better success with installing gnome-terminal. At least for the Ubuntu based Linux Mint it is gnome-terminal that has been patched so as to allow mousewheel scrolling to work in ncurses applications.

Hi,
I managed to solve my problem.
I'm using Cinnamon on LMDE, with both xterm and gnome-terminal.
I installed the package less, and suddenly I can scroll around with the mouse wheel, and the arrow keys too.

less isn't installed by default? I can't imagine, that's pretty much standard I thought.
