pluma: Different color schemes for different file types

Post by HisDudeness »

Hi everyone! I use the default MATE text editor, forked from gedit, for everything. From plain text files, to C++ programs, to LaTeX documents. In C++, The color scheme I like the best is Cobalt, its blue background helps every different string to stand out being easily recognized amongst the other, whether it is a declaration, a comment, or whatever. But the blue background obviously bothers me while creating a plain document, let alone LaTeX ones. Is it possible to make pluma automatically change color scheme as long as I apply the .cpp, .cc or .h extension?

I don't see anything like that in the options, but you can leave a feature request on the github.
