|SOLVED] Problem with Android SDK on LMDE

Postby ptyxs on Fri Jan 10, 2014 9:47 am

I just installed Android SDK on my LMDE.
I have to confess that, though somewhat experienced in other areas of programming, I am a complete newbye in Android Programming.

My problem is linked to adb.

When I try running MyFirstApp through Eclipse, I get this error message in Eclipse console :
Code: Select all
[2014-01-10 14:30:47 - adb] Unexpected exception 'Cannot run program "/home/toto/adt-bundle-linux-x86_64-20131030/sdk/platform-tools/adb": error=2, 'No such file or directory'' while attempting to get adb version from '/home/toto/adt-bundle-linux-x86_64-20131030/sdk/platform-tools/adb'

However there seem to be an adb file on my machine :
Code: Select all
~/adt-bundle-linux-x86_64-20131030/sdk/platform-tools $ ls -l
total 2140
-rwxr-xr-x 1 toto toto 1231255 janv. 10 09:59 adb

But on trying to launch it I get a curious message saying it does'nt exist ;
Code: Select all
 ~/adt-bundle-linux-x86_64-20131030/sdk/platform-tools $ ./adb  -s version
bash:  ./adb: No such file or directory

Any idea ?

Highly relevant.
Problem solved on my LMDE after a simple :
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install ia32-libs

Thank you very much, Monsta.
