How does one install UbuntuOne in Linux Mint Debian?

One better does not, since Ubuntu will be terminating the service.

Alternatives are: google drive, Dropbox or copy.com

Dropbox service is mature but only gives 5Gb for free to start with. Both services have clients for Linux, Windows, Apple & Android.
