LinuxMint Debian nvidia drivers issue with new xorg server

Postby jooke on Tue Apr 15, 2014 4:07 am

Hi,

I upgraded my linuxmint debian to jessie/sid yesterday. And now I have problem with my nvidia drivers. As of today, the latest "96" driver only supports X.org 1.9. Is there way to downgrade X.org back to 1.9. version? I need to downgrade because nouveau drivers doesn't work correctly.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Try to reinstall the one in LMDE repo.

If you upgraded to Sid, you're supposed to know how to handle this
