Unzip a part.rar

Hello,

I have got five files which have these names:

example.part1.rar
example.part2.rar
example.part3.rar
example.part4.rar
example.part5.rar

Now I want to unzip them, but this is not possible with the integrated archive manager in LMDE. So I read and searched through this and other forums but I was unable to find out how to unzip all of them together.

Furthermore, I installed the "p7zip-rar" software but I was unable to decompress my files with unzip, p7zip or the archive manager.

Hi Minzen;

Install the package "unrar" and try again with the archive manager. If that fails then open a console in the folder containing the files and enter the command: unrar -e example.part1.rar

Now it worked! Thank you.

This is how I did it:

I just uncompressed the first (example.par1.rar) with the archive manager instead of selecting all parts!
