Clonezilla

Hi mint users. I need to do a backup with clonezilla. I have one extendet partition with a 3 sub partitions, one for root, one for home and one for swap.
I should backup only the extended or all or the partitions?

Hello,
I found this tutorial on the clonezilla site, I have backed up all partitions on my hard disk (sda).
I have a separate root -home - Backtrac 4 and XP partitions. They all get backed up to my external drive (sdb) .
I haven't tried restoring from that disk image yet though. I haven't needed to and - I'm chicken.
Everything is working so well I don't want to chance it if I don't need to.

My advice is to back-up each partition separately.
