Hi all,
tried to search the forum but it seems nobody has same problem.
After VLC update to version 1.1.9. controls does not appear on full screen normaly. When I double click on video window and video goes to full screen, controls appears on mouse move with bottom panel. But if I left click on video, controls does not appear anymore. If I do not left click then controls shows every time I move mouse, but along with panel.
Any thoughts? :?

When in full screen mode, right click on the screen anywhere. A context menu should appear. Under "View" there will be two entries of interest, "Fullscreen Interface" and "Minimal View". Fullscreen will give you the full screen view with controls visible at the bottom. If you are in fullscreen and click "Minimal View", the controls disappear. Uncheck "Minimal View" and your controls should be restored.

There is no view menu in full screen mode if i right click on video. I use separate window for video not embedded in main interface. I now about "minimal view" and "full screen", but they are in main window View menu and they change main windows appearance. And I'm talking about controls in video window. :(

seems to be a common bug in the version currently in testing. I can live with the panels also appearing so I don't really mind. what ticks me off more is the massive memory-leak in the pulseaudio-plugin that often occurs after having taken a break from watching and maybe some multi-tasking. While this seems to be fixed, it will take some time for the next version to hit the debian repos I'd guess.
Guess I'll have to try and compile it myself. using alsa in vlc meanwhile
