Hi,

I'm running LMDE 201109 Gnome, thank you for a great product.

In Debian testing, TortoiseHG is now at version 2.2 and Mercurial is at 2.0:

http://packages.debian.org/testing/vcs/tortoisehg
http://packages.debian.org/testing/vcs/mercurial

Are there any plans to promote them into LMDE?

Any way I could cherry-pick those packages directly from Debian?

My apt sources is currently as follows:

Code: Select all

deb http://packages.linuxmint.com/ debian main upstream import
deb http://debian.linuxmint.com/latest testing main contrib non-free
deb http://debian.linuxmint.com/latest/security testing/updates main contrib non-free
deb http://debian.linuxmint.com/latest/multimedia testing main non-free

Since LMDE is based on Debain testing you should be able to add the repo's (if they are not already there) and install the packages. Though I would deactivate the repos after installing the applications. The reason is that Mint tries to stay on the stable side of testing. a wholesale upgrade from testing might cause problems.
