So here's the error log:
Checking session consistency (brasero_burn_check_session_consistency brasero-burn.c:1739)
Session error : An internal error occurred (brasero_burn_record brasero-burn.c:2856)
I tried the Synaptic Package Manager fix that someone suggested...didn't work.
I've been using Brasero with 100% success to rip and burn dvd's but now I'm trying to burn a video project onto a dvd. I'm using Openshot.
The error log doesn't give any particulars that I can see. What's an internal error? Something in Brasero or something in my system?
I'll appreciate any constructive input.

There must be more messages than that. What you can do is this: open a terminal and type the command brasero. Burn the video again and see which error messages appear in the terminal. Copy the whole content of the terminal and paste it here. Most likely the cause of the problem shows up.
