Major Xfce and Thunar updates, but not yet safe to install
I see that fairly major updates to Xfce (4.9) and Thunar (1.3) are out. But at present they are only in the Experimental repository, and trying to install them creates all kinds of monkey-business with dependencies. Here's hoping these issues get sorted out soon by the Debian maintainers, so that the updates can safely be installed.

I posted my problem - that LMDE xfce boots to bash after the latest updates - before i saw your post. Maybe I should just wait for a more stable update?
