Hello,
So, I'm having a rather peculiar problem. Most issues I've come across involve the touchpad panel under mouse settings never appearing. However, on my old Dell XPS M1530 running a fully updated version of LMDE x64 (MATE version, kernel 3.2), this is only the case if I don't suspend it.
Before suspending: the mouse moves about 1 inch per every 2 inches a finger slides across the touchpad, no gestures work, no touchpad options present.
After waking from suspend: Normal sensitivity, gestures and tapping work, touchpad options are available.
Presumably this is some issue with the load order of drivers at boot or the like. However, I have no idea where to check how drivers load at boot and on resume from suspend to see how they differ. Any ideas/suggestions? And has anyone encountered a behavior like this? I've tried checking around, but everything I've come across involves touchpads never working...
Thanks!
