I have a HTPC with a ASUS M5A88-M motherboard and I installed Linux Mint Debian 201204 64 bits with fglrx on it. I never succeeded to wake it up after suspend. I tried a ton of tricks I found on Internet and none works.
In every case, the computer seems to suspend correctly. But when I push the power button or hit the space bar of the keyboard, all I can get are the fans running and the Num Lock light lit.
In details, when the computer is suspended:
- Power light: Blinking
- Fans: Off
- Blu-Ray driver: Off
- Keyboard: All lights off
- Mouse: Laser beam off
- Screen: No signal
- Power light: On
- Fans: On
- Blu-Ray driver: On (The eject button works.)
- Keyboard: Num Lock light on. Does not react when I hit Caps Lock, Num Lock or Scroll Lock.
- Mouse: Laser beam on
- Screen: Black for a moment, then no signal until I force the computer to restart.
