trust sc-5500p exernal soundcard

hi all.
i use lmde 32bit on an eeepc1005ha. i have an external soundcard trust sc-5500p 5.1 and it looks like mint recognizes it and i'm able to switch audio card in the sound options, but it's not working because there is no sound.
