Printer Daemon not updating

After printing the daemon in the system tray doesn't keep up to date. It keeps jobs in the queue that have already been printed. They say either processing or pending. Any ideas what the problem could be?

Thanks,
Scott

I have narrowed it down a little more. This problem only happens with printers shared by other computers (in my case, shared by linux mint computers). In addition, the printers often either don't print or have massive delay before they print. I also can't delete or cancel their jobs from my computer. My normal network printers work fine.

I checked the USB cable, with no success. Only 1 printer is USB connected.

So check the CUPS operations directly on each computer and find out if it prints

You are obvious getting something into the shared(host) print queue from the other machines/computers; needs some investigation on your part, you have the equipment, it is only a matter of your time to resolve it

The more I think about it, the more clear the problems become.

1. Network Printer
This printer usually prints fine. We have 2 networks. It is on one and I'm on another. There is a computer that acts as a spooler, connected to both networks. It shares the network printer from one network to another. The problem with this printer is that the jobs remain visually in the queue. They print, but my computer says it's still processing. Otherwise, I think this printer is working. Konica Minolta C360 Series PS-P

2. Shared Printer
This printer either works once or not at all. It is connected directly to a workstation, which then shares it on the network. The first time I printed to it yesterday, it printed (a LibreOffice document). I then sent something from Firefox and it didn't print. Afterwards it wouldn't print anything. Nothing was in the queue for my computer or on the host computer. Afterwards I also couldn't even print from the host computer. HP LaserJet 1000
