Kodak ESP 3250 problem

Postby Iron Dutchess on Thu Sep 08, 2011 1:47 pm

I have just moved from Linux Mint 11 std 32bit to Linux Mint Debian.
In LM 11 the printer worked perfectly. In LMDE it is recognised as being connected as can be seen below, but when trying to add the printer in "control centre>printing" the printer can't be found.

Is there some extra things to do in the LMDE edition to get the printer working?

Hi

Just checked my LMDE install and synaptic is showing the latest driver as C2esp 18-4. I would try that.

Tried that, even downloaded c2esp19.tar.gz from Sourceforge removed everything and tried that. Same result. System knows it's attached to a USB port, but it's not found by the printer install.
