Working FGLRX drivers available in Experimental.

Running Gnome 3 (3.2 actually)

Plus side:

Temperature is now down to a more manageable 55 deg C.

Down side:

Some graphic corruption on AWN tooltips and when using activities and task tray (have updated to 3.2, still same). Cannot screen shot problem as screen shot is fine, shows no distortion.

Lost ability to sleep/suspend, will not wake up requires hard restart. I have never been able to suspend before, works like a dream on the Gallium drivers and I was getting used to it, really useful ho hum :(

May yet drop back to Gallium drivers, undecided, but as I had improved on the heat problem............................

Have reverted back to the open source Gallium drivers, if I tried to play videos on mplayer or VLC, machine immediately logs out.
