My camera won't show up, and I'm running out of space...

Hi all,
(and happy holidays!)

I'm trying to get my Canon EOS 400D to show up in LMDE (latest respin with update pack 3) but it just won't mount (or whatever's the problem)

Running a dmesg I get these lines:

Code: Select all
[    4.928038] usb 1-3: new high speed USB device number 2 using ehci_hcd
[    5.086496] usb 1-3: New USB device found, idVendor=04a9, idProduct=3110
[    5.086504] usb 1-3: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0
[    5.086509] usb 1-3: Product: Canon Digital Camera
[    5.086514] usb 1-3: Manufacturer: Canon Inc.

and:
Code: Select all
[   15.848139] usb 1-3: new high speed USB device number 6 using ehci_hcd
[   15.920477] loop: module loaded
[   16.012539] usb 1-3: New USB device found, idVendor=04a9, idProduct=3110
[   16.012551] usb 1-3: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0
[   16.012559] usb 1-3: Product: Canon Digital Camera
[   16.012566] usb 1-3: Manufacturer: Canon Inc.

So it does seem like it's there and detected...

Disk utilities doesn't see it and then of course it doesn't pop up with a "auto-connect" question... (What do you want to do with... blablabla")

The problem is probably something very easy to solve, but I still have to ask the question...

How can I fix this?

Thanks in advance
