Linux Mint 12 connects to the network instantly upon login.

LMDE 201204 takes up to 10 seconds to connect.

Can anyone explain this?

I have the Netgear WNA1100, if that matters.

Same problem with a realtel rtl8191SEvB. About 1 to 2 minute to get connected

I'm new to LMDE, but I never have this problem in ubuntu
