cannot connect my edimax wireless card

Something strange is going on with my edimax 7106pc wireless card. I verified on debian wireless and it's compatible; it detects my router (an my neighbours's). But then it does not accept my password. I verified a lot of times and the password is correct. I have one netbook running julia 10 that works perfectly (with that password). Don't know what to do...
Any ideas?

to see "wireless extensions" and then

Afterwards maybe the last rows of

dmesg

are showing an error message.
But in this case I can't give further help.
