I need help with the wi-fi in my laptop.

When I ran the kernel that came with the installation it worked fine.
After I changed the sources to Sid it will not work.
Have tried to follow this page: http://wiki.debian.org/bcm43xx
Then it seemed to find the wi-fi, but did not start it.

The card in your computer are: Broadcom Corporation BCM4312 802.11b / g LP-PHY

Have received this message two times when an update:

Code: Select all

dkms: Running auto installation service for kernel 2.6.37-2-amd64:
ndiswrapper (1.56) ... failed.
If it might have been to do with it.
Anybody have some idea of what it could be?

http://wiki.debian.org/wl may be of better use for what you are looking for. The BCM4312 performs much better in my experience with the wl driver from Broadcom, but you'd need to point your sources list to the proper repo and verify it's available in the repo. I always follow those instructions on install and they have worked perfectly, but note that the repo in the instructions is for Squeeze, which LMDE was based on until it released as stable. That's the only portion you'll need to change most likely, but I have not actually tried to install the wl in sid.
