Wifi drops out

Hey guys I've been using LMDE and my only big issue with it is my wifi drops out regularly. The weird thing is it's not losing connection. A ifconfig shows that it's still connected but I cannot retrieve any information from either the internet or any other computer on my LAN connection. Any suggestions?

What wifi chip are you using?

Run "lspci" or "lsusb" an post the output.

Have you tried using Ndiswrapper?
