LMDE wi-fi and Toshiba Satellite L650D

Hi, I can't enable wi-fi on my Toshiba L650D laptop using the live dvd. I have Linux Mint 11 Main E installed on a USB HDD and when using it with my laptop everything works fine, wi-fi included, but LMDE doesn't want to work with wi-fi. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.
