No wireless on EEE PC 1015N (Broadcom 4131 card)

I'm not picking up any wireless networks on my Eee PC while using LMDE. Wired internet works just fine. I've tried installing the packages firmware-b43-installer and broadcom-sta with no changes. I tried using the windows network driver tool to install the windows driver from asus.com and it tells me it's an invalid driver. Anyone have any ideas?

Since you are on LMDE you must follow Debian procedures to install drivers, not Ubuntu methods. That should fix you up, assuming your card in the title is a typo and should probably be BCM4311.
