Pulseaudio network setup

Pulseaudio's documentation is nearly useless, they don't have a forum, and no one talks in the irc channel (?). Do any of you guys have experience setting up pulseaudio over the network? I've been digging through PA's mailing list archive trying to piece together a solution and im pulling my hair out.
