Please can someone suggest how I check that LMDE is using the drivers on my graphics card correctly.
I am using a nVidia graphics card but since installing LMDE about a week ago, the whole graphics system seems.......slow?.......It's not up to the same sort of performance as my previous version of Mint 13.
Any advice welcome. I am not a technical guri, I am an IT consultant.

Re: Proper use of nVidia drivers
God day colleague!
By default, LMDE installs noveau drivers. These are open source drivers and they are not made by nvidia. If you want to get every atom out of your graphic card, I suggest you to install non-free drivers. Guide can be found at top of this section.
Hope it helps!
